I listened to the abridged version on CD and it was entertaining enough in the car as I was driving to and from work. The Choice is definitely a beach book for the romantic who loves love stories. The Choice is superficial on wrestling with the ethical dilemnas and in this I found it a disappointment and of not much use to the more serious thinker.
For light reading, I recommend if. For a serious investigation of the human heart I would pass.
