Number of American high-schoolers studying abroad, 2007-2008 = 2,255.
What do you make of this discrepancy?
I find it fascinating and wonder about the contribution of this fact to an xenophobia in the United States which make it easier for Americans to support wars of aggression in foreign lands like the wars in Viet Nam, Iraq, Granada, Panama, etc.
