Are businesses hiring psychpaths?

From Science Daily:

For the first time, it has been demonstrated that people with psychopathic tendencies who have high IQs can mask their symptoms by manipulating tests designed to reveal their personalities. It raises the possibility that large numbers of ruthless risk-takers are able to conceal their level of psychopathy as they rise to key managerial posts.

Editor's note:
Psychopaths tend to be charming, manipulative, and if they are smart they are able to climb into high positions in business and politics. They can be ruthless and feel little remorse in hurting people to get what they want which usually are higher profits, more power, a higher position in the organization. I hypothesize that people with psychopathic personalities can be very successful in the short run and benefit organizational goals but in the long run, they are bad for business, morale, and ethical organizational practices. They rarely seek any kind of psychiatric help and they wind up often in the criminal justice system when their behavior becomes too unacceptable as we observe with the scandals reported in the media everyday involving business executives and politicians who finally "got caught." Frank Underwood in the House Of Cards is a good example.
