Stop loss, the film

Stop loss was distributed in 2008 and is a film about a small group of soldiers from Texas who come home after a tour of duty in Iraq, celebrated as heroes, and then told that they have to return to Iraq under the Stop Loss provision. Staff Sgt.
Brandon King decides to go AWOL and defy the military.

This film depicts the brutality of war and the affect it has on its participants and their families. It is a must see for all Americans and especially for mental health professionals who may have to provide service to them.

I recommend this film and give it a 4 out of 5 stars on the Markham must see film rating scale.
