Precious, the film, is just that Precious. It is disturbing, heavy, and not frivilous entertainment if entertainment is the right word at all.
It is inspiring and gives one great hope seeing the courage and perserverence of a human being under tremendous abuse and suffering.
This film is for adults.
It is a must for Social Workers and educators, and Pediatricians and others who work with the urban poor.
I highly recommend this film.
