Do antidepressants work?

Want to know whether antidepressants work? Here's a succinct meta-analysis from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.

The over all answer is, "not much".

Best second generation antidepressants appear to be Citalopram (Celexa) and Sertraline (Zoloft) plus they are cheap now because you can buy them in generic.
