The Innocence Project deserves your support

I donated $50.00 on April 30, 2009, to the Innocence Project and encourage you to do the same. It is one of those agencies which is doing excellent work fighting for social justice.

Dear David,

On behalf of Barry Scheck and Peter Neufeld, Co-Directors of the Innocence Project, please accept our thanks for your generous gift of $50.00. Since our founding, more than 200 innocent people have been exonerated as a result of DNA evidence. Their freedom is a result of your support.

Each innocent person provides irrefutable proof that wrongful convictions are not isolated events but arise from systemic defects that can be precisely identified and addressed. The IP has had tremendous success in breaking new ground in winning reforms to bring integrity and justice to the United States criminal justice system.

The collective force of the rising number of exonerations is also galvanizing public support for reform a trend that was unimaginable just a decade ago. Your gift will help us take full advantage of this historic opportunity.

Thank you again for your partnership. Please know how deeply we appreciate your vote of confidence in our work.

Sincerely,

Madeline deLone
