David Simon, creator of The Wire talks with Bill Moyers

On April 17, 2009, Bill Moyers interviewed David Simon the creator and producer of the HBO TV series, The Wire, which is one of my favorite shows of all time. I will be posting some quotes from the transcript of the interview over the next few days because David Simon says some very insightful and interesting things. He points out that there are systemic problems in American culture and until these are recognized and dealt with America will continue to deteriorate and our society as we know it will fade away.
