Slumdog Millionaire, the film

I watched Slumdog Millionaire yesterday afternoon at The Strand Theater in downtown Brockport and it was Okay but I don't see why it got the academy award. I liked Gran Torino better and I liked Milk better the either Gran Torino or Slumdog Millionaire.

Slumdog Millionaire was very predictable, unrealistically violent in parts, and I kept looking at my watch wondering when it was going to be over.

I would definitely recommend Milk, and then Gran Torino and Slumdog is a rental from the video store or Netflix if you have nothing better to do.

On Markham's film scale I give it a 3 out of 5.
