Tom Ashbrook had an interesting show on December 15, 2008 entitled, "Hunger in the USA" during which he interviews Joel Berg who's latest book is "All You Can Eat: Hunger In America".
Once again, there are huge cultural indicators that the Republicans have royally screwed up America from Reagonomics to Gingrich's Contract On America to 8 years of Bush lunacy. Bill Clinton ever politically expedient and the Democrats went right along with the travesty of social justice as well.
It is Americans themselves who have to get their values straight, and until then millions of people in this nation will continue to suffer.
